Frequently Asked Questions
Can you provide spec documents for architectural submittals?
Yes. We supply product cut sheets, CAD-ready dimensions, motorization specifications, and control system integration details. We support architects and designers through design development and construction document phases.
Do you coordinate directly with AV integrators?
Yes. We work directly with AV and smart home integrators on control system wiring, automation scenes, and communication protocols. We support Lutron, Savant, Control4, and Somfy TaHoma integrations.
What skylight geometries can you handle?
We install shading systems for fixed panels, sloped glass, barrel vaults, clerestory windows, ridge skylights, and curtain wall overhead glazing. Every project receives a field verification visit to confirm geometry and mounting conditions.
Do you handle scaffold setup for high ceilings?
Yes. We plan and deploy interior scaffold systems for all high-ceiling and overhead installations. Full safety planning, lift coordination, and structural assessment are standard on every project. Fully insured with workers' comp.
Can you manage the full window treatment scope — not just skylights?
Yes. We regularly execute complete shade packages including skylights, roller shades, drapery, and blackout systems as a single coordinated deployment. This reduces trade overlap and scheduling conflicts for the GC.
What is your typical project timeline?
Motorized skylight systems typically require 6–10 weeks for production after field verification. We provide detailed timelines during specification and coordinate installation scheduling with the GC and other trades.
